The International Cartoon Transaction Fair

Goals:To build more access into the global broadcasting and distribution platforms for cartoons originally made in China; to create transaction and cooperation opportunities for all cartoon producers.

Targets: TV stations, cinemas, web broadcasting dealers and other distribution agents from home and abroad; cartoon and animation companies.

Form of Transaction and Negotiat: Two conference rooms will be used at the same time for the screening of participating cartoons. Sample cartoons will be played by representatives of the participating cartoon companies in order. Reservation with the broadcasting organizations are needed before conducting negotiations and transactions.

Highlights:Plenty of selected cartoons make sure the fair is a carnival for all buyers. Over 100 cartoons produced by major cartoon and animation bases and companies in the country will be invited to participate in the fair. It will be a great opportunity for companies to build relation with buyers from all over the world, including TV stations, distributors, cartoon channels from all over the country and cinemas from all over the world.

History: Over 110 cartoon and animation companies attended the 2011 International Cartoon Transaction Fair held for the first time in the history of CICAF, bringing about 210 cartoons to the venue. The participating works accounted for at least 60% of the total number of cartoons recommended by the State Administration of Radio, TV and Film in 2011.
