INTERNATIONAL ANIMATION FESTIVAL HANGZHOU SUMMIT

International Animation Festival Hangzhou Summit

The year of 2006 saw the debut of the International Animation Festival Hangzhou Summit held on the shores of the West Lake during the 2006 China Cartoon and Animation Festival. Impressed by the cityscape and the grandeur of the festival, participants marveled at “the most innovative undertaking set in the world’s most beautiful place”. The exchange between international festivals was greatly enhanced during the Hangzhou Summit held during the 2nd CICAF in 2008. Also in 2008, the organizing committee composed the Hangzhou 21st Century International Cartoon and Animation Festival While Paper and the Hangzhou World Animation Festival Mutual Benefit Manifesto.

The 2010 Hangzhou Summit Form will draw participation of a total 13 international festival from12 countries and will focus on more intensive exchange and cooperation among all participating festivals to promote the common development.

Apart from the conference sessions, the 2010 Hangzhou Summit will also hold a buffet party along with a film screening session. The buffet party, especially, designed for all participants to conduct communications in a relaxed atmosphere, thus could provide opportunities for all visitors to make friends and seek business partners.
