Objectives

      - As a significant part of CICAF, the competition of‘Monkey King Award’ is a prestigious event designed and supported by the local government, academic institutions and the cartoon and the country’s animation industrial sectors. The principles behind the competition can be summed up in six key words: peace, harmony, development, health and progress. The event advocates ‘high quality, high character, high taste’ and covers all related aspects of the cartoon and animation industry. It endeavors to promote the development of original cartoons made in China and tap more talents and first-class works through exchange of ideas and evaluation of the submitted works. The previous success of the event in the past few years has laid a solid foundation for the rising of the professional reputation of ‘Monkey King Award’ and its competition.
