The Talents Recruitment Fair of the 6th CICAF will be held at the Leisure Expo Garden of Hangzhou from April 30 to May 1, 2010. The venue will be open for free for all participating companies to set up exhibition booths. The goal is to encourage talents cultivation for the country’s cartoon and animation industry and provide a platform for companies at home and abroad to recruit truly qualified people. Last year’s Talents Recruitment Fair drew participation from over 60 cartoon and animation companies from all over the country. The fair saw participation from about 2,600 people seeking employment opportunities in over 1,000 positions covering all major aspects of the industry, including screenplay writing, modeling, animation and special effects. Nearly 500 applicants reached preliminary employment agreements with their future employers.

      To better serve companies as well as individual practitioners of the cartoon and animation industry, this year’s recruitment fair will offer more flexible exhibition hours for participating companies during the two days. Registration in advance is the only requirement. This year’s fair will be not only for cartoon and animation corporations. It also welcomes participation from game producers and the fast-growing innovative communities, and encourages companies to offer more openings at all levels for talented professionals in mid-level and high-end management and marketing, game production and for on-campus students as well as graduates.

      The fair will be open to all game companies, communities in the innovative industry and individuals involved in the cartoon and animation industry.
