GOLDEN MONKEY KING AWARD

As one of the most significant parts of CICAF, the “Golden Monkey King” Award Competition boasts the authority that comes from the supports of Chinese governments at all levels; professionals from academic organizations; and veteran practitioners in the field of cartoon and animation. Firm believing in “High Quality, High End and High Grade”, this annual Award is intended to identify outstanding animation works and talents, to recognize accomplishments in all aspects of cartoon and animation industry and, to encourage originality as well. In addition to the competition, this Award also provides a communication platform for artists and professionals of international relevance, who focus on the most-up-to-date topics of animation entertainment industry. COSPLAY SUPER SHOW

Cosplay Super Show is held in 13 cities throughout China and has Korea and Japan as its overseas competition venues for the first time which receives more than 1000 group participants and 50,000 spectators. The final in Hangzhou this year is the coolest ever since.

SEIYUU COMPETITION

Seiyuu Competition, a nationwide animation dubbing competition, is part of the “Golden Monkey King” Award. It is sponsored by broadcasting and media academies, provincial TV stations and radio stations, and professional film dubbing studios. The winner will have the chance to dub in films or get the priority of admission to professional academies.

CHINA INTERNATIONAL YOUTH’S

CARICATURE COMPETITION

The event aims to promote cartoon culture among young people and encourage youngsters to explore more in the field of cartoon and animation. Its grand award ceremony and exhibitions have been an important part of the CICAF. More than 32,000 works from over 41 countries were sent to the organizing committee this year that incorporated various elements of their lives and thoughts, showing the cartoon passion of the youth coming from all over the world.
